Mr. Eddie Ng is currently VP Group Cargo Solutions & Platform Development in PSA International. He has the overall responsibility and accountability of PSA Group’s platform development and
partnership. He works closely with customers, partners and government agencies to support the platform development.

Prior to his current position, he was Head Strategic Liner Management of APL where he led the Asia, US & Europe Regional Cargo Flow Teams as well Yield Management Team in Singapore. He was a member of APL Innovation Committee and led proof-of-concept initiatives in the application of blockchain technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He also collaborated with local Universities in research ranging from booking velocity to short-term projection of vessel utilization.

Eddie has more than 20 years of international experience in container shipping and logistics industry. He has held management positions in NOL/ APL/ APLL across Asia, Europe and Americas and has served a variety of roles of increasing responsibility covering marketing, pricing, alliance & network planning, group corporate planning, eCommerce, logistics product management and yield & cost management. He has initiated and implemented enterprise-wide transformational project covering demand forecasting, network optimization and end-to-end shipment & inventory visibility. He also pioneered customer profitability at individual box level and auto-pricing for shipping through machine learning.

Eddie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor Science (Hons) (Computer & Information Science) from the National University of Singapore.
